Home Survey
Before giving you a quote, Geotrans Logistics & Movers will make a premove survey at your home to estimate the size of your shipment and determine any special service requirements you may need such as crating, storing, insurance coverage, etc.
After you have evaluated your moving companies, and selected the best company to servicing your moves. In choosing Geotrans Logistics & Movers, you require to return us original acceptance form with complete information (see below). Once we received your acceptance form, we will inform you the following information :
International custom information, Destination custom form, Destination Agent with contact number and contact person, Insurance declaration form;
Valuation and quotation
The process of assessing the value of items to be moved and providing a cost estimate for the moving service. This assessment helps determine the level of liability the moving company assumes in case of damage or loss during the move. A quotation, on the other hand, is a formal estimate provided by the moving company, detailing the cost of the move based on factors such as distance, volume, and additional services required. Both valuation and quotation are essential steps in planning and budgeting for a successful and cost-effective move.
Packing Team and Packing Materials
Geotrans Logistics & Movers will pack everything for you. However, if you feel more confortable packing some personal items, we will be pleased to deliver packing materials to you in advance. But, leave the box you pack open so that the supervisor can inspect them. We must write PBO (packed by the owner) in case that the boxes are not sealed by our supervisor.
During the packing process, our supervisor will mark, on each carton they packed, items number, description, your name and destination. The items are recorded on the inventory packing list (see above). You will receive a copy of this list for your record upon the completion of the job.
Herebelow are the list of our packing materials we will need to pack your goods. The cartons exist in differents sizes which are designed to be resistant and protect your personal belonging in perfect condition on delivery to your next destination.

- Alarm: De-activate the alarm system.
- Wash: Wash the vehicle thoroughly for accurate inspection.
- Personal Items : The vehicle should be free of personal items so that you need not worry about your belongings while the vehicle is being transported.
- Gas: Since the carrier is weighed at every state line and the more the weight the more will be the payment to be made. So make sure that the gas is no more than ¼ of the tank.
- Loose parts: Secure or remove any loose parts or specialty items such as ground effects, spoilers, fog lights, or wide mirrors, lower or remove the antennae.
- Open tops: Secure any tears or open seams on convertible tops to prevent fast-moving air from causing further damage.
- Radiator: Make sure the radiator has adequate levels of fresh antifreeze.
- Battery: Be sure that the battery is secure and has no leaks.
Vehicle Inspections
Make sure that your car is washed before pick up appointment. Motor Vehicle Description inventory and Motorcycle Condition Report (see below) contains the information of the status of the car/motorcycle before the move commences. On reaching the destination, it must be signed by both parties between receiver and authorized carrier. Herein we note if there is any damage. And any claim must be filed within two weeks.

This service is even available for new purchases delivered directly to our Storage Facilities on your behalf. Then, on the departure date, your shipment will be loaded into large steel container supplied by the steamship line or by 10 Wheel Trucks.
We provide storage unit which has 24/7 hours/day security and pest treatment. We are all in an effort to provide secure safe storage for your belongings, and the entire process of handling your secure storage, including the loading into the steel container and 10 wheel truck, is handled entirely by our experienced Geotrans Logistics & Movers representatives.
